I'll be crushing on someone, without any intention to build connection.

...just to admire my own self willpower.

By the way, what a crush really is actually one of your own personality created by your own self.

And they just give it a face.

A crush is you, your own self. Because nothing exist without your own interpretation.

They may have some unique specialities in their physique, but what you're really latched on, is the version of you in them.
